Graphite Carbonization Furnace
Product Description:
Application: The core purpose of a high-temperature carbonization furnace is to enable carbon-containing precursors to undergo pyrolysis and carbonization reactions under an inert or weakly reducing atmosphere, converting organic components into carbonaceous structures while removing volatiles. It is a key heat treatment equipment for the preparation of carbon-based materials and ceramic-based materials. It can also be used for the vacuum carbonization of high thermal conductivity films (polyimide PI films), biomass materials, and other materials.
Features:
- Precise Atmosphere Control: The furnace can stably maintain an inert atmosphere (N₂, Ar) or a weakly reducing atmosphere, completely isolating oxygen and preventing material oxidation and ablation during carbonization. Some high-end models support vacuum carbonization, further reducing gaseous impurities and improving the purity of the carbonized products.
- Temperature Adaptability and Controllability: The standard carbonization temperature range is 800–1800℃, with some special models exceeding 2000℃. The heating rate is flexibly adjustable (5–20℃/min) and equipped with segmented temperature control programs, precisely matching the carbonization curves of different materials (e.g., PAN-based fibers require slow heating to remove cyanide groups, preventing fiber cracking).
- Furnace Chamber Insulation and Temperature Uniformity: The furnace lining uses high-temperature resistant insulation materials such as graphite felt and carbon felt, providing excellent insulation performance and effectively reducing energy consumption. The furnace chamber temperature uniformity reaches ±15~±30℃, ensuring consistent carbonization of materials processed in batches and avoiding problems such as insufficient or excessive carbonization in certain areas.
- Corrosion Resistance and Volatile Matter Treatment Design: The furnace inner liner uses corrosion-resistant materials such as graphite and silicon carbide, which can withstand the tar and acidic volatiles generated during carbonization. It is also equipped with a volatile matter collection or combustion treatment system to prevent condensation and blockage of pipelines within the furnace, ensuring long-term stable operation of the equipment.
- Strong Process Integration: It can be seamlessly integrated with subsequent graphitization furnaces and medium-frequency induction purification furnaces to form a complete production line of "precursor carbonization → graphitization → high-purity purification," meeting the full-process heat treatment needs of carbon-based materials from raw materials to high-performance finished products.
