Abstract

Vacuum sintering furnace may encounter a variety of faults in the operation process, the following are some common faults and their solutions:

The vacuum degree cannot reach the requirement:

Reason analysis: it may be due to the decline in the performance of the vacuum pump, the existence of leakage points or contamination within the vacuum system.

Solution: Check and replace damaged seals, clean or replace filters; perform maintenance on the vacuum pump, repair or replace if necessary; find and repair possible leakage points.

Temperature control is not stable:

Reason analysis: damaged thermocouple, heating element failure, improper temperature control instrumentation settings.

Solution: Replace the damaged thermocouple or heating element; recalibrate the temperature control instrument to ensure that the parameters are set correctly.

Heating speed is too slow or not heating:

Cause analysis: power supply problems, heating element aging or broken circuit, control system failure, etc.

Solutions: Check for proper power connections and fix any power supply problems; check the condition of heating elements and replace as needed; troubleshoot potential problems in the control system and fix them.

Inefficient cooling:

Cause analysis: blockage of the cooling system, insufficient cooling medium or circulating pump failure.

Solution: Clean the cooling pipes to ensure there is no blockage; replenish the cooling medium to the proper level; repair or replace the faulty circulation pump.

Equipment abnormal noise:

Cause analysis: loose mechanical parts, wear and tear or imbalance.

Solution: Tighten all loose screws and connections; replace worn parts; adjust relevant components to restore balance.

Alarm triggers frequently:

Cause analysis: Sensor failure, limit protection device malfunction, or operating conditions outside the set range.

Solution: Test the function of all sensors and replace them if necessary; check whether the working logic of the limit protection device is correct; make sure that the operating conditions are in accordance with the equipment specifications.

Regular maintenance is an effective means of preventing many of these problems. In addition, following the manufacturer's operating instructions and safety protocols is essential to ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment. In case of complex technical problems, it is recommended to contact a specialized technician or service provider for assistance.

In-depth Analysis of Graphitization Process: How Do Temperature and Vacuum Affect the Cycle Life of Anode Materials?

With the explosive growth of the electric vehicle and energy storage markets, the energy density, cycle life, and safety of lithium batteries have become the focus of industry competition. As the mainstream choice for anode materials—artificial graphite and natural graphite—their electrochemical performance is highly dependent on the quality of the graphitization process. Graphitization is not only the process of converting amorphous carbon into ordered graphite crystals, but it also determines key indicators such as the degree of graphitization, defect density, and impurity content of the final anode material, thus directly affecting the battery's cycle life. In actual production, two core process parameters—maximum processing temperature and furnace vacuum—are often the key to success or failure. Is the temperature high enough and uniform? Can the vacuum effectively remove impurities? This article will start from the mechanism, deeply analyzing how temperature and vacuum affect the cycle life of anode materials, and, combined with our company's advanced control capabilities of high-temperature graphitization furnaces and vacuum sintering furnaces, demonstrating how precise thermal processes can improve product consistency.
