Abstract
No matter what type of vacuum sintering furnace it is, if there is no regular maintenance, the service life of the vacuum sintering furnace will definitely not be long, and may even accelerate. So, doing a good job in the maintenance and upkeep of the vacuum sintering furnace is something that vacuum sintering furnace users need to pay attention to and must do well. How can we extend the service life of high-temperature vacuum sintering furnaces, as told by numerous manufacturers of vacuum sintering furnaces? How to maintain and upkeep a high-temperature vacuum sintering furnace?
How to extend the service life of high-temperature vacuum sintering furnace?
1. Appropriate environmental humidity
The relative humidity of the experimental electric furnace and controller shall not exceed 85%, and there shall be no conductive floating dust, explosive gases, or corrosive irritants to avoid damaging metal insulation and electronic components. Silicon carbide rods should be placed in a dry place to prevent the aluminum head from absorbing moisture and undergoing changes. During the construction process, if some poles are found to be white while others are dark red, it indicates that the resistance of each pole is different, so it is necessary to replace the pole with a similar resistance value before reapplying.
2. Appropriate temperature
The operation of high-temperature vacuum sintering furnace is closely related to the working temperature. The working environment temperature of the controller is limited to 0-50 ℃ and cannot be too high or too low.
3. Ensure that the device is connected correctly
Check if the connection between the electric furnace and the controller connector is intact while the experimental electric furnace is in operation.
4. Rinse the electric furnace
Do a good job of flushing the experimental electric furnace. Metal oxides, slag, and debris in the furnace should be promptly removed, and the workpiece should be handled carefully to prevent damage to the silicon carbide rod.
5. Workpieces that do not meet the requirements are strictly prohibited from entering the furnace.
When using a high-temperature vacuum sintering furnace and controller, please ensure that the furnace temperature is within the rated power range and cannot exceed the maximum operating temperature. Do not load damp workpieces into the furnace. In the heating furnace, workpieces with high moisture content should be dried in advance.
6. Avoid causing other damage to the heating element
Silicon carbide rod is a recrystallized product of silicon carbide. Alkali, alkali metals, sulfuric acid, and boron compounds may corrode them at high temperatures, while water vapor can have an impact on them. Has a strong oxidizing effect: hydrogen and gases containing a large amount of hydrogen will decompose silicon carbide rods at high temperatures, so its application must be strictly monitored.
