Abstract
1.Operating principle
Vacuum degreasing integrated sintering furnace is a combination of degreasing and sintering function in one equipment. It is mainly used for metal powder injection moulding, ceramic injection moulding and other processes. The core principle is the removal of organic binders from the material and the densification and sintering of the powder particles through the synergistic action of vacuum environment and temperature control.
2. Degreasing stage
a. Principle: Volatilization or decomposition of the organic binders in the material by heating under vacuum or multiple inert gases and discharge through the vacuum system
b. Precautions:
● A vacuum of 10-²~10-³ Pa is required to avoid oxidation or carbonization of the binder at high temperatures.
●Temperature control needs to be precise, usually within 200-600℃ to avoid cracking or deformation of the material.
3. Sintering stage
a. Principle: At higher temperatures (usually 1200-1600℃), metal or ceramic powder particles are densified by diffusion, evaporation, coalescence and other mechanisms to form high-strength, high-density products
b.Precautions:
● A vacuum or protective atmosphere prevents oxidation of the material
●Temperature uniformity is critical to the quality of sintering and usually requires that the temperature difference within the furnace ≦ ± 5 ℃
