Product Description:
·An induction coil (archaically) is a type of electrical transformer used to generate high voltage pulses from a low voltage direct current (DC) supply. In order to produce the change in magnetic flux necessary to generate the induced voltage in the secondary coil, the DC current in the primary coil is repeatedly interrupted by vibrating mechanical contacts called interrupters.
·An induction coil is a device that works on the principle of electromagnetic induction. When current flows through a wire, a certain electromagnetic field is generated around the wire, and the wire itself induces the wire within the electromagnetic field. On the wire itself to produce electromagnetic field is called ‘self-induction’, that is, the wire itself produces a change in the current produced by the change in the magnetic field, which in turn affects the current in the wire; in this electromagnetic field on the influence of other wires is called ‘mutual inductance’.
·The electrical characteristics of the inductor coil and capacitance of the opposite, that is, ‘through the low-frequency, high-frequency resistance’. When a high frequency signal passes through an inductor, it encounters great resistance and is difficult to pass. However, the resistance to low-frequency signals passing through it is relatively small, i.e., low-frequency signals pass through it easily. The resistance of an inductor coil to direct current is almost zero.
Classification of Induction Coils:

· Classification by Inductance:Fixed Inductance and Variable Inductance.
·Classification by nature of magnetiser: Hollow coils, Ferrite coils, Iron core coils, Copper core coils.
·Classification by operating characteristics:Antenna coils, oscillating coils, choke coils, trapping coils and deflection coils.
·Classification by winding structure: single layer coil, multi-layer coil, honeycomb coil, close-wound coil, inter-wound coil, stripped coil, chaotic coil.
